On 22th September, we planted about 40 trees: pinus silvestris and sorbus aucupariae. The trees were planted in a green space near kindergarden no. 7 from Sighetu Marmatiei. We were about 56 people: 7 teachers and 49 children.
It was a very cloudy day, but nothing could stop us!:D We were decided to plant trees at 12 o'clock sharp!
We sang, we read the ENO message, we listened to the representative of the local forest association and then we started working. After planting it, we also measured each one and got the following information: we had sorbus aucupariae trees from 0,52 m to 1,09 m in height and pinus silvestris from 1,04 m to 1,80 m.
We will continue our ENO activities by night with the help of one of our teacher , member of the local astrological club.We will search the sky, seek the stars and send our observations online.
During this school year we will have other planting trees sessions because the proper period for planting trees in our region is final october - early november.
